The Clock Starts Ticking!
As if taking delivery of the boat, first-fixing the equipment, having
her painted and planning the launch (again, watch this space!) were not
enough, Commando Joe today received details of the Ocean Fours start date.
On June 10, 2006 - just 492 days away
- Commando Joe will row out of New York Harbour, past the Statue of Liberty,
to begin their crossing of the North Atlantic Ocean. In turn, that means
there's only 547 days to go until the team rows into Falmouth, Cornwall,
UK - provided the team achieves their objective of breaking the existing
record!
