The boat nears completion...
Final touches are being made to the Commando Joe boat, as it nears completion
at its Devon boatyard. Construction is now complete, but the next ten
days will see the boat kitted out with two Lewmar Ocean 60 square hatches,
one Plastimo 450 circular hatch, custom-made rudder pintles and four alloy
cleats. On December 20, it will leave the boatyard ready for the next
stage - painting and the addition of sponsors' logos. Then it's time for
the formal launch - watch this space for details!
