The Commando Joe Rowathon
We're pleased to announce that the Commando Joe team will be participating in a 24-hour rowathon, to be held on 19 and 20 November 2004. The rowathon will start at 9am with a photoshoot outside the Cheltenham branch of Waitrose Food & Home (one of our sponsors), before moving on to Cheltenham High Street, where the team will set up outside the Beechwood Arcade for the remainder of Friday. Subject to confirmation, the rowathon will finish outside Gloucester Docks on Saturday. Our boat will be on show for the whole duration of the event, and members of the team will be free to talk to anyone about the Challenge. We'll be collecting funds for the Meningitis Trust during the day, and we will also be welcoming personal sponsors for the team - come and see us to find out more about having your name painted on the boat and carried across the Atlantic Ocean!
