Commando Joe - Challenging the Extreme

IS NOW COMPLETE!

...and we're planning the next one already!

More people have climbed successfully to the top of Mount Everest than completed a crossing of one of the world's oceans in a rowing boat. Days at sea:
84 days, 23 hours and 59 minutes

Team Hesco, powered by Commando Joe, finished its Atlantic Challenge on Sunday, September 3, 2006.

According to the Ocean Rowing Society, Team Hesco has rowed the longest continuous distance (as the crow flies) non-stop across the Atlantic from West to East, without support.

three extreme challenges...three extreme environments...three years to complete

Commando Joe is "Challenging the Extreme" - completing challenges that require extreme physical and mental exertion, unflagging endurance, exemplary teamwork and, last but not least, a taste for adventure. We have already raised more than £140,000 for the Meningitis Trust, a charity which has provided welcome support for the families of meningitis victims and done so much to save lives by raising the awareness of meningitis. Please help us to increase that total so that we can continue the Trust's ongoing work through the completion of these challenges.
